DJ Fusion
DJ Fusion started dj'ing @ underground warehouse parties most notably Rebel Intelligence, playing out @ their infamous new years eve parties where crowds of well over 1'000 would be common place (new years eve 1999 & 2001). Also came slots @ Nifty Manoeuvres & Rebel Intelligence @ the soundshaft (embankment -London) playing alongside mike dred of Kosmic Kommandos.
Through experience gained on the warehouse circuit & numerous smaller clubs around London he was able to set up his own night "fullmotion" which caters for hip- hop, breakbeat & drum & bass. Fullmotion has had a spell @ west one four in west Kensington but most recently @ the dogstar (Brixton).
Fusion has a wide range of influences from the fast moving sounds of Bad Company, Ed Rush & Optical to the more soulful & vocal sounds of Carlito & Addiction, Fellowship & Peshay. London based Fusion has a hard-edged sound but never losing the funk & soul of the music.
As well as dj'ing since around 97, he has also turned his skills to production. You can often hear him testing the water with fresh dubs being played out for the first time @ fullmotion.
Although relatively new to the scene & still only 24, Fusion is in the
midst of setting up his own record label. He hopes this will be an outlet
to create another dimension in the forever-evolving sound of drum & bass
and to also keep an unbiased, open mind in order to help shape the sound of
the future.
